Denver, CO (June 16, 2020) – Denver Broncos Safety and 2019 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, Justin Simmons announced today the establishment of the Justin Simmons Foundation. A nonprofit organization that will focus on youth development, hunger relief, educational initiatives and other charitable causes.
“I have been blessed with the opportunity and platform to make a positive impact in the lives of children. I want to use my voice to motivate others and truly help those in need.” Justin Simmons said. Justin was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 2016 NFL Draft. Since entering the league, Justin has remained an impact player on defense; he has played every defensive snap for the past two years. His presence in the community has been just as consistent. In 2019, the Broncos reported he contributed more than 3,500 minutes with 20 different local organizations focusing on health & wellness and civic engagement and youth football.
The Justin Simmons Foundation is dedicated to mentoring young people, promoting the benefits of youth sports, supporting youth education and other charitable initiatives. It was established in 2020 by Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons and his wife Taryn.
